Hostility of Birth

Another 2 page spread illustration from my dark fantasy narrative Knight of Paradise, where the protagonist Edith engages in combat with the being of Birth in pursuit of the magic sword Archaisbane. Birth holds one of the portals to Chaos (along with its counterpart, Death) where the mythical sword is being kept in the center of a fleshy maze.
